CHA-CO VEHICLE RESEARCH PLATFORM
The CHA-co Vehicle Research Platform is a modular, instrumented mobility and data acquisition system designed to support advanced automotive R&D, sensor validation, environmental testing, and intelligent transportation research. Built around a fully integrated Data Acquisition System (DAS), the platform combines high-fidelity vehicle dynamics monitoring with synchronized perception and weather data collection in real-world operating conditions.
The platform supports a wide range of sensors including LiDAR, radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, range finders, and onboard ADAS processing for object detection, tracking, and mapping. A key differentiator of the CHA-co platform is its integrated weather and aerodynamic measurement capability, featuring weather-resistant pressure instrumentation for real-time aerodynamic performance evaluation — functionality rarely available in comparable commercial research vehicles.
Designed for flexibility and scalability, the DAS architecture can be transferred and adapted to other vehicle platforms as a standalone product or integrated research solution. Clients may also integrate their own sensors and experimental hardware through a seamless modular interface.
Beyond hardware deployment, CHA-co offers the vehicle platform as both a rental resource and a collaborative engineering service. The platform can support independent customer testing, structured development programs, validation campaigns, and research investigations with optional technical, operational, and project management support from the CHA-co team.
